Jeff Siegel is the founder and Executive Director of Global Youth Baseball Federation, Inc. He was born and raised in a Jewish home in Chicago. Jeff came to faith in Jesus as Messiah in 1976 while playing and coaching at the University of Illinois baseball program. This decision made a big impact on his life and family.
Jeff has a unique background in both, business management and professional baseball. In the past, he had a rewarding management career with the ServiceMaster company. Jeff also worked as a professional instructor with the Doyle School of Baseball. For some time he scouted with the San Diego Padres and was privileged to make many connections in the world of baseball.
Over the years Jeff developed a burden for young people to find Christ and for their families to be connected with local churches. He had several opportunities to minister through his baseball activities to youth and their families. In 2000 Jeff decided to develop Global Baseball as a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization to achieve his desire to share the gospel through baseball. Jeff’s personal ministry developed over the years took him across the globe and eventually other’s have joined his cause. Now the organization he started is positioned to make a lasting impact among many nations through baseball, softball and additional sports opportunities.
Jeff earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Education at the University of Illinois and a Master of Arts in Management of Organizations from Southern Wesleyan University. Jeff also graduated with a Master of Divinity Degree at Biola University in Jewish Studies and his Doctoral Degree in Global Leadership at Alliance Theological Seminary in Nyack, New York.
Jeff ministers locally and internationally. He and his wife Terri live in New York. They have 3 children, Melissa, Joseph, and Benjamin.
